After Paint pictures

Well, everything is going well. Drywall is going strong (almost done), paint inside to start soon, tile starts tomorrow. We have water in the house, and hope to have pre-power soon!

Thanks to all this weekend. 1/2 of the stairs are done, most of the insulation is done, and the first coat of paint is done!! House looks amazing!

How long has it been since my last update??

Anyway…. had some delays, still working…. Electrical rough in inspection is done. Roofing supposed to be done today, floor starts downstairs on Monday. Here are some pictures after the windows went in, as well as the stucco.

I also have a couple of my concrete countertops…

Inside plumbing rough in is almost done. Tubs are installed, huge holes cut in slab. Drying in and windows supposedly today??? Merry Xmas to all!!!

Updates, updates!

Incredible amount of work this week. Top framing outside done, trusses all up.. starting to look like a house!!

Boxing in and all framing should be done by late monday, so the electricians and plumbers will start work. Maybe Xmas?? Hopefully!!

How Long has it been now?

Yes, it has been a while… it is like watching concrete cure!!

Trusses are up for the second floor, kitchen is stripped, so is the old bathroom. Breaking apart a cast iron tub is a lot of fun. Here is a litte bit of advice. Wear eye AND ear protection . The Coating of the tub goes everywhere on the first whack, and it sounds like you are in a bell tower when you hit it for the first time.

Walls for 2nd floor supposed to be going up this week!

Finally an update!

Sorry no updates lately. Have been a little slow due to finishing up the tie beam and having to do some adjustments to the truss plans. Trusses supposed to be delivered on Wednesday, and start gong up there as well… Hopefully that will be what happens!!

Garage is almost all walled up. Tie beam plywood is starting to be placed, kitchen cabinets came down. It is funny how they look fine when they are in place, but when they are taken off, they look really ratty. Looks like it is going to be another trip to IKEA!!
