After Paint pictures

Well, everything is going well. Drywall is going strong (almost done), paint inside to start soon, tile starts tomorrow. We have water in the house, and hope to have pre-power soon!

Thanks to all this weekend. 1/2 of the stairs are done, most of the insulation is done, and the first coat of paint is done!! House looks amazing!

Inside plumbing rough in is almost done. Tubs are installed, huge holes cut in slab. Drying in and windows supposedly today??? Merry Xmas to all!!!

How Long has it been now?

Yes, it has been a while… it is like watching concrete cure!!

Trusses are up for the second floor, kitchen is stripped, so is the old bathroom. Breaking apart a cast iron tub is a lot of fun. Here is a litte bit of advice. Wear eye AND ear protection . The Coating of the tub goes everywhere on the first whack, and it sounds like you are in a bell tower when you hit it for the first time.

Walls for 2nd floor supposed to be going up this week!

Garage is almost all walled up. Tie beam plywood is starting to be placed, kitchen cabinets came down. It is funny how they look fine when they are in place, but when they are taken off, they look really ratty. Looks like it is going to be another trip to IKEA!!

Friday update

Passed inspection, so we can pour on Monday. All this time for my garage!

Hopefully I’ll have some cool video of it. If Rox and I can get over there, I can maybe get “all Kubrik” on this!

Just kidding. Anyway, tester her camera for video, and it works great! The litte all in one we got works great as well.

Hint on pictures and video.. you can make good pictures and video smaller and crappier, but making crappy video and pictures to make better is not the way to go!! Microsoft Movie Maker works great as well.
